We are bookkeepers that have incorporated as an employee owned cooperative. Starting at Ambient Bookkeeping ECL puts you on the path to ownership. New hires are provided the opportunity to apply to become a permanent member of the cooperative upon completion of the initial six month probationary period.
We provide the services that would be expected of a bookkeeping company, including payroll and preparation of client remittances for PST, GST and source deductions, and month-end procedures to maintain client accounts accurately. Sage 50 is our primary in-house accounting software, however, we also have clients who have their accounts based on the Munisoft software.
We don’t prepare financial statements or prepare or file tax returns, rather we work closely with the accounting professionals who do. Our clients are predominantly not for profit organizations, municipalities, cooperatives and community organizations.
